I’m happy to be part of KŸHL’s third record. Trying to describe their music is like trying to describe feelings: they catch you, they leave you asking, they roll over you, scream at you, hurt you, caress you. Their sound is cold but their songs are warm - as are the people playing that music. „Nach Strich und Faden“ is screamo that’s stripped down soundwise: one guitar, a drumkit and three voices that sound raspy most of the time and soothing in the quieter parts. At the same time, the five songs revel in an abundance of ideas.
